Carvings And Controversies / Silver Gelatin Exhibition Prints, 1992 – 1994

This collection holds a complete set of Silver Gelatin exhibition prints from Carvings and Controversies, a project made by David Hurn after being appointed as Bradford Fellow in Photography in 1992. The photographs explore the subject of sculpture in the environment and are taken in locations all around the United Kingdom.

In addition to the prints, the collection features original text panels from the exhibition at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford, as well as a number of correspondence letters and work prints.
