(Pictured) A collection of vintage prints by Shirley Baker documenting life in the working class communities of Salford and inner-city Manchester.
Throughout the 1960s Shirley Baker documented the streets and residential areas in Manchester and Salford as they underwent large scale redevelopments and changes. Her photographs focus on the relationships between the people living in the area, but also show the changing landscape of construction and demolition looming over these residential areas.
