This is a rare exhibition poster produced to coincide with the 1981 show 'The Non Conformists, Photographs of Calderdale by Martin Parr'.

This early Parr exhibition was on display for one month at Half Moon Photography Workshop, London, and presented Martin Parr's series The Non Conformists. This was Parr's first major body of work, created over a period of five years while living in Hebden Bridge, a small town in West Yorkshire, England.

The photo on the poster is of the Lee Dam New Year Swim, showing Johnny O' Hara (front) and Percy Bull (right) breaking the ice to allow the swim to take place, taken in Todmorden in 1976.
